Professional Women Veterans Association


Established in 1997, the mission of PWVA is to serve its members, promote professional growth,and to enhance the quality of life for those who have served in the Uniformed Services of the United States of America. Another vital vision of PWVA is to educate the American public about the role of Women Veterans in Military Services.

The purpose and aims of the Professional Women Veterans Association are to promote the growth and development of women through Special Events, a Membership Directory, Seminars & Workshops, Wellness Programs, Networking, Community Education and Entrepreneur Opportunities.

PWVA fosters the principles of equal rights and opportunities by supporting "Persons with Disabilities", "Stamp Out Stereotypes" and "Sponsor a Vet" programs.

PWVA encourages its members by fostering political and economic development through voter registration drives, veteran advocacy, gender equality issues, and notification of governmental policy changes.
